Everyone together never alone Christmas 2021
Carole finds a self this year volunteering in the kitchen at The Inspired Hub-this will be her fourth-year volunteering with like-minded people who want to make a difference on Christmas Day within the local community in Hampton.
The concept grew when in 2017 Carole volunteered at Crisis for Christmas in London. Excited after her volunteering with Crisis she she met up with her dear friend Susan Green and between them they decided that they could do something similar within the community of Hampton And Never amAlone at Christmas was born… now with just 3 days until Christmas day The Inspired Hub is getting ready for its guests: wrapping Christmas presents from Santa making up hampers, arranging children’s activities with Deva from Crafty Tales. Fiona is preparing for the opening of the pre-loved clothing boutique – Beautiful warm winter clothing in a variety of sizes. Carole has a team of volunteers in the kitchen and Peter the chef at Greenacres is preparing the Christmas food off-site in a catering kitchen whilst Phil is making hundreds of scones. Richard will be strumming his guitar and singing good old favourite songs whilst people mingle – socially distance of course!
This now is a regular annual event in Carole’s diary where she helps the homeless vulnerable and people in need. If you would like to volunteer in future years or be a guest please do get in touch with Carole privately
