This year Carole finds herself travelling to Goa with 80-year-old mother...Apprehensive as she has not holidayed with her mother since she was 11 years old it was quite a different experience from travelling to south east Asia Carole normally ‘roughs it’ backpacks and travels light this time she was staying in a 5 * Hotel living the life of luxury... she did however manage to find a authentic village clinic and spent 4 days Learning about Ayuverdic medicine and massage techniques... she managed to find a remote roof top sunrise yoga class too at Ron’s BnB in Benaulim a hair raising tuk tuk journey through the back streets of Goa after yoga she would return to the luxury resort and meet her mother for breakfast and spend the day together… They travelled to Hampi ian ancient village in the south Indian state of Karnataka. It’s dotted with numerous ruined temple complexes from the Vijayanagara Empire. On the south bank of the River Tungabhadra is the 7th-century Hindu Virupaksha Temple, near the revived Hampi Bazaar
